Neve Michael
Born in Alaska, and a long-time resident of the Mat-Su Valley, Neve has committed herself to improving the quality of life for our local community. Growing up in native villages has given her insight into our rural Alaskan communities’ unique needs. She is particularly interested in trauma treatments and has spent over a decade developing an understanding of trauma-based disorders and care for children and adults. After experiencing Neurofeedback and watching the treatments improve the lives of herself and her family, she saw the value to the community and dove into training. Trained in the Othmer Method of Neurofeedback, Neve is experienced with Infralow Frequency, Synchrony, and Alpha/Theta training.
In addition to being a Neurofeedback Technician, Neve Michael is an enthusiastic and dedicated mother of three and a university student. The developmental needs of her children led to a fond familiarity with the neurological, physical, linguistic, emotional, and occupational challenges accompanying trauma, autism, sensory dysfunctions, ADHD, and giftedness. Difficulty finding care in the relatively rural Alaskan life led Neve to study many modalities and theories of care herself, providing a valuable range of perspectives. This passion evolved into an education and a career, with Neve earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2023. She is working on her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and looks forward to serving her local community in the future as a counselor.
